Dothan Police and Dothan Fire are on the scene of a possible drive by shooting on Basin Ave. The victim has a reported gun shot wound to the arm that doesn't appear to be life threatening. The apparent victim was treated at the scene by Dothan Fire Medics, Pilchers Ambulance responded but did not transport.

The alleged shooter has been detained by Dothan Police at Johnson Homes and is being questioned at this time.  Houston County Sheriff's Office also responded to assist.

Correction to the article; The suspect was stopped by the Houston County Sheriff's Deputies working in the area and Dothan Police was Called.
