On July 31st 2014, the Dothan Police Department with the assistance of the Henry County Criminal Investigative Unit executed a search warrant in the 2000 block of County Road 14 Newville, Alabama following a recent investigation into the growth and sales of marijuana.
A search of the residence revealed an active indoor marijuana grow operation, which included over 180 marijuana plants, numerous high intensity grow lights and paraphernalia supporting the sale of marijuana. The occupants of the residence, Michael Forehand and Jonathan Moore, were taken into custody and have been charged with Drug Trafficking.
The Dothan Police Department would like to thank the Henry County Criminal Investigative Unit for their assistance with this case. The arrest of Forehand and Moore brings a close to this investigation.
- Michael Troy Forehand, white male, 47 years of age, of Newville, Alabama was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking.
- Jonathan Randall Moore, white male, 32 years of age, of Newville, Alabama was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking.
Bonds have been set for both individuals at $250,000.00 each. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
