UPDATED: Serious Accident with Injuries on U S 84 at Holland Road in Wicksburg

HOUSTON COUNTY: Wicksburg Fire, Wicksburg Rescue and Houston County Deputies are on scene of a wreck on U S 84 West at Holland Road in Wicksburg. Dothan Fire was dispatched at help with the wreck Pilcher's Amabulance also responded. One person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital by Wicksburg ambulance with Dothan Fire-medics on board. CPR was being done on the driver. The area where the wreck is located is closed until all can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
NOTE: Due to the seriousness of the driver's injuries we are with-holding all scene photos until the family has been notified.

The driver od the silver buick has died as a result of his injuries from the wreck. The driver has been identified as 68 year old Henry Murrell of Graceville Florida.
