BATTENS, AL: Battens Volunteer Fire was dispatched to a structure fire on Coffee County Road 716. Upon arrival of Battens Fire, the structure, a single wide trailer, was found to be fully involved. Battens Fire then called for Mutual Aid from Goodman and Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Departments. Enterprise Rescue also responded to the scene to standby for firefighters safety. The fire is now out and Goodman and Tri-Com Fire Units have returned to service. Battens Fire is on scene mopping up hotspots. Pictures will follow soon.
