Updated Sunday morning:
Two females escaped from The Barbour County Jail on 3/14/15 around 7:45p.m. Upon the deputies arrival they identified the two females that had escaped over the fence. The females are Jessica DeLoach from Eufaula and Dominique Richards from Clio. Multiple agencies came together to apprehend the two escapees. The jail was placed on locked down and the area was blocked off until the tracking team from Alabama Department of Corrections k9s could arrive. The k9s tracked the two females less than a half of a mile from the jail. The escapees were found in the back seat of a small disabled vehicle that was parked in someone's yard where they were apprehended within a hour of escape. I would like to thank The Clayton Police Department, Alabama Department of Corrections Tracking Team, Louisville Police Department, The Clio Police Department, Alabama Fish and Game, The Eufaula Police Department, and The Dale County Sheriff' Department. The escapees are charged with Escape in the third degree.
