UPDATED: Three Year Old Struck by Vehicle on Butler Road

Houston County: Houston County Sheriff's Deputies and Taylor Police responded to a report of a 2-3 year old child getting struck by a vehicle in the 200 block of Butler road. Pilcher's Ambulance responded to the call and transported the child to a local hospital (Trauma Alert). TLast reports CPR was in progress. The incident is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers and the Houston County Shriff's Office.
UPDATED
We have learned that the child has died as a result of their injuries. Our prayers go out to the family.
