UPDATED With Photos:Motorcycle Versus Deer Accident In Geneva County

GENEVA COUNTY:  Geneva County authorities are on the scene of a motor cycle accident on Hey. 167 and County Road 41. Marty is on the scene.

Reports are a motorcycle and deer struck. The motorcycle rider is being treated on the scene by Hartford Rescue.

Bellwood Fire, Hartford Rescue, and Geneva County Sheriff Department is in the scene. The accident is being investigated by Alabama State Troopers.

 

UPDATED By Marty: The driver was transported from the scene to a local hospital with what appeared to be non life threatening injuries. Geneva County Sheriff Deputy Matt Myers and Bellwood Volunteer Firefighters responded to the scene and waited until an Alabama State Trooper arrived on the scene. All units are now back in service and available for calls.
