HOUSTON COUNTY: Sheriff Department has a Pansey burglary in progress. Houston County Sheriff Deputies jumped a burgundy Kia Sorento which are the suspects. They lost contact with suspect vehicle.
Houston County Sheriff Deputy Lt. Ivey, McKinney, Hatcher and others responded. Ashford Police assisted.
Sheriff Department then responded to a two year child not breathing. This call was in the 6200 block of Fortner Street. Houston County Sheriff Deputy Robert Jenkins responded along with Wicksburg a Volunteer a Rescue. Dothan Fire Engine 8 ( The Highlands ) with Captain Ron Durhaime responded. The child was transported emergency to Flowers Hospital with CPR in progress. A Sheriff a Investigator was called to the scene.
4:28 PM Houston County Sheriff Deputies were then called to Third Avenue and Nashville Road. A motor vehicle accident with injuries. Accident closed Third Avenue. Alabama State Trooper will investigate. Hodgesville Volunteer Fire and Pilcher Ambulance responded.
The Trooper is responding from Daleville.
4:39 PM Houston County Sheriff Deputies were then called to Highway 55 at Bud Moore Road. A motor vehicle accident with injuries. The vehicle was overturned and fully engulfed in fire. All occupants were out of the vehicle. Cottonwood Volunteer a Rescue rolled along with Lovetown and Cottonwood Volunteer Fire. Cottonwood Police responded along with Houston County Sheriff Deputies. Alabama State a Trooper will investigate the accident.
