UPDATED W/PHOTOS: Structure Fire in Malvern

Malvern Fire, Faydette Fire, and Slocomb Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a structure fire on Summer Rd just off of County Rd 70. When the first unit arrived, he requested extra mutual aid from Taylor and Bay Springs Fire Departments due to the structure being fully involved and no hydrant nearby.

One person was treated on the scene by Slocomb Rescue for minor smoke inhalation. No other injuries have been reported.

The home is a total loss.

Red Cross is on scene to help the family with basic needs.
