Dothan Houston County- Last week Clarence Blackman was arrested and booked into the Houston County Jail but gave law enforcement a false name. The name he gave was Randall Carroll, after he was booked into the Jail a Crime Stoppers Tip came in that he wasn’t who he said he was. After further investigation they discovered the man that told them he was Randall Carroll was actually Clarence Blackman. Blackman was originally charged with First Degree Possession of a Forged Instrument and Possession of an Altered Firearm by Dothan Police.

Now Blackman faces more charges for obstruction by giving false name to law enforcement and Forgery for signing the false name to all documents at the jail.

The real Randall Carroll came in and spoke to law enforcement after a friend saw his name listed on the county jail docket on this website. All has now been straightened out.

NOTE: What ever is placed on the jail dockets comes from the jails. We do not know if names given to law enforcement are the correct names when we scan them.
