Vaughn Blumberg Center Gets New Gym

If have ridden by the Vaughn Blumberg Center on Flynn Road you may have noticed some new construction going on. A special Project is being done for the individuals who go to the center. A New Gym is currently being built and will serve to help with activities when the weather outside does not permit.


 


For the folks at the center this is a long time coming and they can’t wait until it is finished. This has been a nine year project in the making and now will be a reality for the center, thanks to Ed Dorsey.


 


Houston County did all the site prep work and this saved the center a lot of money, Alfred Saliba Construction is doing the building. Site work began on January 3rd and the building is expected to be completed with in 210 days with weather permitting.
