Vehicle Off Bridge In Newton

NEWTON: At about 8:38 AM Ozark - Dale County 911 dispatched a motor vehicle accident on Highway 231 South in Newton at the twin bridges. A southbound Nissan came off the second bridge and spun off from the ice and down the embankment. N
The Nissan was fortunate at the time of the ice spinning he was pass the guard rails and went down the grassy embankment.
Pilcher’s Ambulance responded to the scene. No one was injured.
Newton Police and Dale County Sheriff Deputies were on the scene and Newton Volunteer Fire Department.
