Vehicle vs Motorcycle in Marianna

On 06/27/2012 Officers with the Marianna Police Department responded to Penn. Avenue and Distribution Drive at approximately 11:00pm in reference to a vehicle collision between a Nissan passenger car and a Kawasaki motorcycle. The motorcycle driven by Michelle Reed of Cottondale, Fl. was Headed East on Penn. Avenue when the passenger car driven by Jean Marc Elie Denestan of Greenwood, Fl pulled into the path of the motorcycle.  Denestan was attempting to turn onto Distribution Drive when the collision occurred. Reed was transported by helicopter to Bay Medical center and is listed in critical condition. Denestan was uninjured in the crash. Investigation is ongoing with charges pending the outcome of the investigation.
