Dothan, AL – In a united response to the recent television commercials attacking District 29 Senator Harri Anne Smith for turning her back on Wiregrass veterans, a number of retired military leaders from throughout Houston, Dale, and Geneva counties are holding a press conference at 1:00 PM today at Veterans Park in Dothan. “We’ve been hearing a lot of accusations about Harri Anne’s voting record, and her alleged lack of support for the veterans,” stated David Morales. “We are gathering today to show our united support for Senator Harri Anne, and to set the record straight.” “Harri Anne has always been there for us veterans,” stated veteran Ed Prichard. “Whenever we have had an event, a funeral, a veterans function, or a simple question, Harri Anne has always been willing to drop what she’s doing and support this community. I regret I cannot attend today, but express my utmost respect and support for Harri Anne.
