Victim Identified in Yesterday's Accident in Enterprise

DOTHAN POST --  At the request of Enterprise Police Chief T.D. Jones, Alabama State Troopers are investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a pedestrian.  On Tuesday, Aug. 23, Laura Diane Pruitt, 45, was killed when she was struck by a 2003 Dodge Ram. 



Pruitt was pronounced dead at the scene by Coffee County Coroner Robert Preachers.  The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene and was not injured.  The crash occurred at 8:45 p.m. on Alabama 167 at the 23.2 mile marker, in the city limits of Enterprise. Nothing further is available as Troopers continue to investigate.
