Volunteer Fireman Charged With Theft Of Association Funds

COFFEE COUNTY:    Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton and members of Coffee County Sheriff Department have made an arrest of a volunteer fireman.


Booked into the Coffee County Jail is 27 year old Brock Allen Barlette.


Barlette served as Treasurer of Coffee County Volunteer Fire Association. Several months ago there was suspicioun that money was missing. 


Sheriff Sutton assigned criminal investigators to see.


Following the investigation of about two months Sheriff Investigators placed Barlette in the Coffee County Jail for Theft of Property.


Sources say Barlette is accused of about $ 150,000.00 of missing funds.


Barlette served as a volunteer of Ino Volunteer Fire Department.
