Volunteers needed for Dothan Miracle League

The Dothan Miracle League is an organization that provides children and adults with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league.  Dothan’s “Rotary Miracle Field” is a specially equipped baseball field accessible to disabled children and adults. 


The Dothan Miracle League is gearing up for its 8th season and is in need of volunteers (buddies) to assist players play the game of baseball.  Duties will include protecting the player from balls, assisting the player in batting and running the bases, and being a friend on and off the field.  Buddies must be 12 years of age and older or in the 6th grade or above.  Buddies are a vital part of the success of the Miracle League.
