Walmarts in Prattville and Montgomery re-open after Bomb Threats

PRATTVILLE: (According to WSFA) -Wal-Mart’s in Prattville and Montgomery have re-opened after being evacuated Monday morning due to bomb threats being issued to the two stores.
Prattville city officials say the Cobbs Ford Road Wal-Mart was evacuated following the call of a bomb threat. Little information has been given surrounding the threat but the store was re-opened around 10:30 a.m..
Montgomery Police say the Wal-Mart on Chantilly Drive in east Montgomery was also evacuated after that store received a call about a suspicious package. Police and fire units conducted a search with negative results, and that Wal-Mart was re-opened as well.
Prattville officials say a branch of Sterling Bank also received a threat. That threat was cleared but the bank decided not to reopen on Monday.
The penalty for making a terrorist threat is a felony charge.
