Eufaula, Ala. – The Educational Talent Search (ETS) program at Wallace Community College is holding its annual recruitment drive. Talent Search is a federally funded TRiO program hosted at Wallace Community College-Sparks Campus in Eufaula that prepares low-income and/or first-generation college-bound students for enrollment and success in college.
ETS aims to motivate and assist young people by providing services, which include special topic workshops, summer enrichment, tutoring, financial literacy, cultural and educational field trips, college campus tours, and assistance with applications for financial aid and college admission.
All services are free to participating students. ETS is currently recruiting students in Grades 6-10 at Abbeville Elementary, Abbeville High, Barbour County Intermediate, Barbour County Junior High, Barbour County High, Admiral Moorer Middle, Eufaula High, and Russell County High School.
