The later years of life can bring many joys and many challenges. At SouthCARE Specialty Services, LLC we are committed to making these precious years as fulfilling and enjoyable as possible. Our duty is to provide high-quality care services throughout the Wiregrass Area.  We, at SouthCARE, understand your concerns when it comes to making decisions regarding you family. For many people, our in-home CARE is the best solution for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and loving relationships.

Debi Moore founded her business specifically to offer senior adults and people with intellectually disability the opportunity for independent living at home as an alternative to nursing home and assisted living health facilities. She saw a need and wanted to fill it.  As a graduate from Troy University she was fortunate to be employed with a local agency that provides day services and training for individuals with special needs—adults and children.  As the Director/Owner, Debi brings 25 years of experience to your family member to ensure the “best CARE” for your family member.

SouthCARE is a home CARE that focuses on helping seniors with the daily activities they need to be engaged in, to remain safe and healthy. Our home care agency offers customized in-home care for seniors and those limited by Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, patients recovering from surgery and those individuals with special needs.  Our services include but not limited to the following:

Companionship

Visits to friends and family, enjoyable outings

Church

Personal CARE- assisting with bathing, dressing and grooming

Assist with ambulation and transfers

Healthy meal planning and preparation

Assistance to Doctor’s appointments, etc.

 

SouthCARE firmly believes that “HOME” is the best place for any family member. Families are faced with these issues or concerns when their loved one is aging and decisions must be made. Individuals do much better when they are able to remain in their own environment, an environment that they have built their life around. It is very traumatic for the elderly when removed from their HOME and their family.
