Here is a quick update on the potential for severe weather on Wednesday. SPC still has our area under a marginal risk, meaning there is a 5% chance of severe weather occurring within 25 miles of a point.
• Timing: Storms will move west to east across the area Wed-Wed night. The greatest threat will be over the western portions of our forecast area Wed afternoon, with the threat lowering and shifting northeastward through the evening hours.
• Impacts: Damaging wind gusts (40-60 MPH) and a few tornadoes will be possible.
