BARBOUR COUNTY: On 21 July 2016 Joseph Taylor Holley, 23, of Dothan, AL. was arrested on one count of Rape 1st Degree and released to the Barbour County jail.


Holley’s bond will be set by a Barbour County District Court Judge during a 72hr. hearing. The charge comes after the reported sexual assault of a 16-year-old female juvenile on 4 July 2016 while camping at the White Oak camp ground.


The alleged sexual assault took place in the women’s bath house less than 200 ft. from where the victim’s family was camping.


The rape 1st warrant was issued after Holley was interviewed by the Barbour County Sheriff’s CID unit and the alleged victim was interviewed by the Dothan CAC.
