Dear citizens of Cowarts, Alabama,
It is with much excitement and optimism, after many prayers, much thought, and consideration that I announce my candidacy for Cowarts Town Council Seat 1. Although a very small part of the American Government System, I feel as though it is very important for my family and yours.
I was born and raised in the Cowarts area and it is where I have decided to live with my growing family. I attended Ashford High School where I was actively involved in many clubs and organizations in which I held various leadership positions. After graduating with the honor of Salutatorian in 2009, I pursued and furthered my passion to serve elsewhere. I graduated, Cum Laude, from Auburn University in 2013 with a double major in Political Science and Sociology with concentrations in Public Administration and Crime & Deviance. After graduating from Auburn University, I obtained my Alabama Real Estate license. In addition, I taught 3rd Grade at Ashford Academy before it’s untimely closing in June of 2015.
Being born and raised in a family of public servants such as law enforcement and teachers, my studies and experiences have furthered my passion to serve that was instilled in me from an early age. I am happily married to my husband, Matt, and we have one daughter, Matti. I am currently in the process of obtaining a master’s degree and I am employed with Ingram Land and Development, LLC.
Cowarts has a small, hometown feel with a growing-rural mentality. It is truly the BEST of both worlds and I look forward to serving you as a member of the Cowarts Town Council.
I humbly ask for your prayers, vote, and support in my upcoming journey to make a difference in our progression and ever-expanding hometown of Cowarts. In addition to your support, you can request a sign for your front yard.
"It is with my passion to serve, voice for the people, and vision to make things happen that I believe together we can all make a positive difference!"
