Winds or Tonado?? Damage in the Panhandle

According to reports from the JCFloridan in Marianna: Three mobile homes on Durham Road in the Cypress/Grand Ridge area were damaged as straight line winds or a small tornado touched down early Monday. One of the trailers was flipped on its side and the roofs were ripped off the other two. The dwellings were not occupied, as they served as seasonal housing for farm workers who are not currently laboring in the fields. Jackson County Fire Rescue Chief Scott Birge said he is convinced it was a tornado that did the damage, stating that a 600-700 yard path of disturbance leading across a tomato field to the trailers.
