Wiregrass Recognizes Vietnam Veterans “Welcome Home” DayMatt Boster

Dothan, Ala, March 25, 2014 : Vietnam Veterans will be recognized and honored during the official Wiregrass Vietnam Veteran’s “Welcome Home” Day on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held at the Westgate Library Branch at 535 Recreation Drive in Dothan, Alabama.
Mayor Mike Schmitz, Houston County Commission Chairman Mark Culver and District 5 Commissioner Taylor Barbaree will be involved in the ceremony thanking all Vietnam Veterans for their service. Several organizations are joining together to help with the event including the Vietnam Veteran’s Chapter 373, the Patriot Guard Riders, Dothan High JROTC and the Friends Choir.
The Vietnam Veteran of the Year for Chapter 373 will also be announced.
The public is invited to attend and encouraged to “Welcome Home” our Vietnam Veterans.
