As summer approaches we would like to remind everyone to never leave children, or pets unattended in vehicles. In as little as 5 minutes in our area temperatures can exceed 130 degrees. Leaving the engine running is not the answer.


Accidents happen each year due to children or pets left unattended in a vehicle. We strictly enforce this issue. Don't make us arrest you because you left children unattended in a hot car while you went inside to a tanning appointment. (yes it has happened)


No excuse will make it easier to live with if the worst happens to your children or pets. If you see this happening call your DPD at 615-3000 or your local police.
