DOTHAN: The Wiregrass Museum of Art is pleased to announce the return of its seasonal public film series, Screen on the Green, on Friday, September 2, with a presentation of Steven Spielberg's 1975 classic thriller Jaws. The movie will be shown in the Museum's garden beginning at 7:30 p.m., and admission is free.
The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the evening outside. Local food truck Peckham's Food Truck will be on hand Friday evening to satisfy movie-watching cravings, and the Museum will provide free popcorn.
Screen on the Green will continue on the first Friday of the month this fall with screenings of Tim Burton's Beetlejuice on October 7 and Steven Spielberg's Hook on November 4. A spring series of films will be announced in January. In case of inclement weather, movies will be show in the Great Hall of WMA's Conference Center.
