MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
A trip to a fast food restaurant took a dangerous turn when a woman was robbed of her car and belongings at a Montgomery drive-thru.
The carjacking was caught on surveillance cameras and officials call the suspects’ actions in the footage alarming.
Now, the search is on for the duo behind the bold crime and police are turning to the public for help with identifying the suspects.
The victim, a Montgomery resident, was placing her order at a restaurant in the 800 block of Ann Street on Thursday around 9:20 p.m. and suddenly went from looking at the menu to having a gun pointed in her face.
A man wearing a bandana crept up behind her car and at gunpoint, forced her to get out of her vehicle and leave her purse and cell phone.
