A Houston County woman has been charged with animal cruelty in the deaths of five dogs left unattended in the parking lot of WalMart earlier this week.  Warrants were obtained Friday afternoon for Kathy Hadley of Cottonwood.

This case has NOTHING to do with Walmart.  The woman had gone shopping there as many of us do.  The only thing is she allegedly left the dogs unattended in the car and they died.

Please never do this.  Pets have feelings just like we do and can die in the heat just like we can.

Read the story of the charges here.
