Wreck on I-10 Leaves 5 People Dead

According to (WJHG) Florida Highway Patrol  officials are still investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 10 Sunday afternoon in Jackson County, by mile marker 152, near State Road 69. FHP officials say five people, including four young children are dead and the driver is in critical condition at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.


According to reports little before 4 p.m. a red Honda Civic was traveling eastbound on I-10 when the driver crossed into the median, and their car was hit by a truck, filled with students coming back from the Ole Miss vs. Florida football game in Gainesville. FHP officials are still investigating why the driver of the Honda crossed into the median.


At this time Highway Patrol officials have not released any other information.
