Free oil change for life? Beware!

I fell for this line also. I wanted to trust the dealership where I bought a 2015 vehicle. I knew coming out the gate that the car dealership can't make money giving away services such as oil changes; didn't bother me though. I still wanted to give it a try and see how they treated us. By the way, the oil changes are not free. You pay for them up front; they are figured in to the purchase price of the vehicle. To make a long story short, the free oil change line is the bait used to hook you into bringing your vehicle back to them. Once they have that vehicle in their hands, they can do pretty much what they want to with it. There is no way to verify if they actually change the oil, much less the other things they'll charge you for. Google oil change for life and see what comes up.
