2013 American Red Cross Lifeguard Training

Dothan Leisure Services is announcing the 2013 American Red Cross Lifeguard training dates. Lifeguard training candidates must be at least 15 years of age and able to demonstrate basic swimming skills. Upon successful course completion, lifeguard training candidates will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguarding and Standard First Aid certificate valid for two years, and a CPR/AED for Lifeguards certificate valid for two years. Class dates are as follows: #1: January 7-24, #2: January 28-February 14, #3: February 18-March 7, #4: March 11-28. Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 6-9 p.m.

Summer Lifeguard jobs are available with the City of Dothan. If you are interested in working for the City of Dothan in the summer of 2013, the Lifeguard class is free of charge! To register for Lifeguard training, please call 334-615-3755 Monday through Friday from 8-5
