The Coalition for a Drug Free Dale County of SpectraCare Health Systems is planning its fourth annual Red Ribbon Community Block Party to celebrate Red Ribbon Week (National Drug Free Awareness Week) in Dale County! The event is planned for Saturday, October 27th from 10am-1pm at the Ozark Square Parking Lot (across from the City of Ozark Municipal Building, next to Super Sav).There will be free food from local restaurants for everyone to sample and info from local service agencies!We will have a special kids’ area that will include bouncy houses, carnival games, balloons, and other fun activities!The public will judge our Celebrity Chili Cook-Off!And at 12:15pm,we will hold a Red Ribbon Week Proclamation Signing,with many of our local dignitaries joining us!We are also holding a “Say Boo to Drugs” Costume Contest for Children Ages Infant to 12 yrs old.Registration is 10-11am,with the contest at 11am.(No scary costumes please.)
