DOTHAN, Alabama (June 3, 2013) – The Alfred Saliba Center for Families’ HIPPY program will be holding their end of the year awards ceremony on Saturday, June 15 at 9:45 am. Children who participated in the program will be recognized and those finishing the five year old curriculum will become graduates of the Houston County HIPPY Program. The HIPPY program promotes school readiness by working with research based age appropriate curriculum delivered in the home to the parents of 3, 4, and 5 year old children. This program helps prepare both children and parents for the expectations of kindergarten and gives them a solid foundation to begin their educational career.
