Cottonwood's 24th Annual Down Home Country Fest

This year's event will be held on Friday May 6th, and Saturday May 7th. On Friday at 6 p.m. there will be a street dance.Everyone is invited and encouraged to come. There will be food available. On Saturday there will be an early breakfast and the cost is $5.00. One change this year regarding the lineup for the parade. In years past the lineup was at 8:00 a.m. on Southside of town. This year the lineup time is 9:00 a.m. which will allow parade entrants an extra hour to arrive. The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. There will be vendors, kids games, and food of course at Kelly Park in downtown Cottonwood after the parade. There will also be the annual horseshow which features horses displaying their showmanship and ribbons will be awarded accordingly. There will also be the GRAND MARSHAL for the parade, and the honoree has not yet been named. Surprise awaits
