“Customer Service: The Dothan Standard” Seminar

The Workforce Development Committee from the Economic Summit on Jobs will host a “Customer Service: The Dothan Standard” seminar Aug. 2, 2012, at the Dothan Opera House. There will actually be two identical seminar sessions held that Thursday - one from 10 a.m. until noon and then a second from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The event has been put together to inform the citizens of Dothan about the importance of customer service. As citizens, we all need to help put a friendly face on Dothan to assist area leaders in their economic development efforts. Gary Weaver, AIDT training manager, will conduct the first hour of the seminar. The second hour will be a panel discussion that will be moderated by local television stations. WTVY’s Demetria McClenton will host one discussion and WDHN’s Kevin Presley will host the other.There will also be area business, civic and community leaders like Jim Bradburn, Houston County Chairman Mark Culver and Lawrence Keener who will participate in the panel discussions. The discussions will allow the public to see, from various perspectives, why customer service concerns all of us.
