FOOD DRIVE KICK OFF!

Thanksgiving is approaching fast, which means the holiday needs are growing! Together, we can help feed local families for Thanksgiving by collecting food donations to benefit The Wiregrass Area United Way Food Bank. The food drive kicks off TODAY, October 18 through Wednesday October 31. You may drop off your donations to the following locations: Chill Yogurt Café Northside or Southside locations, TriState Graphics, Jim Whaley Tires (any of their 3 locations), Alabama Vocational Rehabilitation Center or The JOY FM radio station. Suggested donations include boxed stuffing, canned cranberry sauce, dessert mixes, canned fruits and vegetables, baked beans, cornmeal, disposable cups, plates and cutlery, canned meat, salt/pepper and breakfast items. Ending hunger throughout the Wiregrass will require the help of community members and it can start with you. For more information, please contact Kasey Peek at 334-790-4557.
