I want to thank the Headland police dept for everything they did to help use find him. I also want to thank the people at Gateway church for helping him and letting him call home. He get lost walking in some woods and was chased by a dog. So by the time he get to the church , he was covered in mud. They cleaned him up, gave him a Popsicle and made sure he was alright. The only bad thing to this story is. He knocked on a door not far from the church asking for help and was told they could not help him. The juvenile was only 13 years old. He told the person he was lost and need help getting home. I know in this time and day people are scared to help someone knocking on there door after dark. But please remember sometimes people do REALLY need help. You can always say i will call the police for you and you may sit outside on the porch. RESIDENTS OF HEADLAND. WE SHOULD ALL HELP A LOST CHILDREN.THANKS TO ARE NEIGHBORS FOR HELPING US LOOK.
