On October 4, 2011, Rob McNamara (Dothan, AL) was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia, a fast-growing cancer of the blood and bone marrow. Rob has been unable to work since October 6, 2011, due to being hospitalized a great portion of the past six months because of the aggressive chemotherapy involved in treating this type of leukemia. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the McNamara family to offset Rob's loss of income and the family's mounting medical bills. Registration begins at 10:00am at the Village Inn in Newton, AL, and first bike out is at 11:00am. Drawings begin at 4:00pm. The cost is $20/bike, and $10 extra for a rider on back. Additional poker hands are $10. There will be food at the beginning and end of the ride for contributing participants.
