Special Olympics Rhythmic Gymnastics Sectional Competition

Dothan Leisure Services will host a Special Olympics Rhythmic Gymnastics sectional competition on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Westgate Recreation Center beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Rhythmic gymnastics athletes combine gymnastics dance movements with the use of apparatuses to include ribbons, hoops, ropes, balls and clubs.  Athletes from Dothan, Mobile and the Birmingham area will compete in individual and team competition.  Athletes will have the opportunity to advance to state competition which will be held at Troy University (Troy, Alabama) May 17-19, 1013.
