Update at 6:15 pm Houston County Sheriff Department Looking For A Female In The Woods

HOUSTON COUNTY:   Houston County Sheriff Deputies are on Willie Varnum Road and State Line Road looking for a female that has gone into woods.

All of the information is not known at this time.

Houston County Sheriff Department has K-9 bloodhounds in the woods.

At this time it is thought to be a domestic situation and the female ran into the woods. Because the Sheriff Department does not know the condition of the woman they want to make sure it is okay.

Update at 6:15 pm the female has been located and is being treated and transported to the hospital by Cottonwood Rescue. Deputies from 1st and 2nd shift deputies worked together to locate the missing female.

Lt Anderson would like to thank everyone involved with the search. Including the Houston County Sheriff's Office, the Dale County Sheriff's Office and Cottonwood Rescue.
