ASABFA Lake Guntersville

430 Anglers, 215 boats from 47 Alabama high schools took to the waters of Lake Guntersville March 15th for the ASABFA 3rd qualification tournament. Anglers brought 434 bass to the scales and 433 were returned healthy. Guntersville High placed 1st, Plainview 2nd, Russellville 3rd, Southside 4th, Hueytown 5th, Arab 6th, Fayetteville 7th, Mortimer Jordan 8th, Hartselle 9th and Childersburg 10th. Eufaula High finished 22nd on the day with Cody Rosen and Zach Smith finishing with the team high 9th place with 18.89 lbs. Big fish of the tournament was caught by Childersburg High school weighing 10.95 lbs! Top bags for the day were Childersburg High 26.63 lbs, Alexandria High 23.43 and Guntersville High 21.96 lbs. The next ASABFA tournament will be held on March 29th on Smith Lake.
