Tornado at Lake Eufaula

Some fishermen on Lake Eufaula near the dam got a scare yesterday (Sunday) afternoon when a small tornado dropped down just north of Bagby Park on the Georgia side. We haven’t heard of any damage and apparently no warnings were broadcast prior to the twister formimg. Just shows how rapidly the weather can change on or near a large lake. The fish were biting despite the bad weather at times. Y’all be safe and keep one eye on the sky.
