Geneva 9-10 Girls Basketball Team Advances to State

The Geneva 10 U all-stars played in their district tournament in Enterprise on February 24-25. They opened up with a 41-0 victory over Enterprise on Friday night. In their next game on Saturday they defeated Samson in a 36-2 victory which earned them a spot in the championship game against Eufaula. The championship game proved to be their toughest game of the day going into overtime but still coming out with a victory of 30-28 over Eufaula. This game was a hard fought game by both teams and Congratulations on a job well done! Geneva will now advance to the State tournament which will be held in Russellville, Alabama on March 9-10.
