Jamie's Journey at Red Elephant Fundraising Event

Jamie Ruppel, a member at Grimes UMC and a resident of Napier Field, Alabama, was diagnosed with stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer on June 8, 2012 and soon learned that the cancer had spread throughout her body. She is a student at Troy University and a member of the Baptist Campus Ministries. In an effort to help meet the expenses caused by this illness, we have teamed up the Red Elephant of Dothan to host a fundraiser. For everyone that goes into the restaurant, from open to close and carry out dinners, and tells their waiter they are there for Jamie, 15% of their bill will be given to her! We want to make this a night that no one will forget! Please help us and eat a delicious meal all while helping Jamie Ruppel and her family!
