Joseph 'kyle' Messina graduates Marine Corp Basic

Son of Joseph and Christina Messina, Joseph KYLE Messina graduated from U.S. Marine Corp Depot Parris Island Jan 11th, and returned home to Jack, AL for 7 days of much deserved leave and an addition 10 days of home leave in conjunction with recruiting assistant duty at the Dothan Marine Corp recruiting station. After completing 29 more days of basic warfare training at Camp Geiger in NC he will be sent to Pensacola,FL where he will be trained in avation electronics.There is no greater pride then watching this young man first graduate from Zion Chapel High school in 2012 followed by his wishing to becoming a US Marine and accomplishing that quest. Our nation exists because of the commitment and dedication of all our servicemen and women. Those that choose to defend and protect our country instead of seeing what they can just get from it.Kyle stood on the same parade deck I stood on 48 years ago and my life reviewed itself as I watched him. And the pride we all feel is well deserved.
