AJ Cherry from Pansey, Alabama passed away in Henderson, North Carolina on April 12, 2017 after an extended illness. He was 77.  He was born to Radford and Dochie Cherry on January 31, 1940. 


He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lemuel, Ander Lee and his wife Lomona Lois Cherry. 


A private family memorial will be held. Condolences may be emailed to [email protected]. 


Survivors include his son Randy Cherry (wife Betty) and his daughter, Talli Sizemore (husband Chuck). His brother Monroe Cherry, and his sister Lillie Douglas. Grandchildren: Thaddeus Mitchell, Amber Sizemore, Laiken Mitchell and Sabrey Sizemore, and numerous nieces and nephews.
