Mr. Alexzine "Snook Um" Glover, age 77, a resident of Wicksburg died Monday April 22, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.

 

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Bethel Baptist Church (3295 N. County Rd. 69, Hartford, AL.) with the Reverend Terry Glover officiating and Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.

 

Mr. Glover was born September 23, 1935 in Wicksburg the son of Hubert Kenneth Glover and Geraldine Lee Glover.    He was retired as an equipment operator in the construction industry.  He lived in Montgomery for 25 years before moving back home to Wicksburg.  Mr. Glover was a member of the Goodwater F.W. Baptist Church in Wicksburg.

 

Mr. Glover was predeceased by his parents; his first wife; Nellie Sue Riley Glover who died October 31, 1983.

 

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Lori Glover; Wicksburg; son, James Patrick Glover (Pam), Dadeville; daughter - Pamela Renae (Stephen) Grantham, Wicksburg;  Tiffany Pearl Glover, Wicksburg; Joshua Robert Glover, Wicksburg; Three brothers; Harold Glover of Millbrook, Roney Glover of Montgomery and Johnny Glover of Wicksburg; one sister; Sylvia Sheffield of Wicksburg; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several cousins.
