Alma R. McGlamry of Geneva, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday March 10, 2017. She was 83.

  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on, Monday March 13, 2017 in the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev.Kenneth Bradley officiating, Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday March 12, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

                                                                                                                        

Alma was born in Holmes County, FL on June 29, 1933 to the late Will and Unity Skipper Mixon. She was a loving and devoted Wife and Sister.  She was a member of the Maple Ave Baptist Church. Alma retired from B.C. Moore’s in Geneva after 20 years of dedicated service. Alma was a accomplished seamstress and enjoyed to sew.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe McGlamry; five Brothers, Millard, David, Alder, Willis and Alvie Mixon. Two Sisters  Zillar Holland and Agnes Mixon.

She is survived by one Brother and Sister in law, Willard and Ethel Mixon of Westville, FL. And many special nieces and nephews.

 

 The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Wiregrass Nursing Home, and Kindred Hospice for their loving care.
