Obituary:  Ann Rogers Ford Frederick

               Mrs. Ann Rogers Ford Frederick of Enterprise and formerly of Gadsden passed away Sunday February 16, 2014 at the family residence in Enterprise.  She was 78.

             Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, February 18 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday beginning at 2:00 and continuing until service time.

             The family will also receive friends at Collier Butler Funeral Home in Gadsden on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 9:30 until 11:00 am.  A graveside service will follow at 11:30 am in the Katy Morange Hughes Cemetery.

             In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to American Family Radio Association, P.O. Drawer 2440, Tupelo, MS 38803.

             Mrs. Frederick was born June 30, 1935 in Gadsden, AL.  She grew up in Gadsden and graduated from Gadsden High School before continuing her education at Auburn University.

             She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Katherine Rogers of Gadsden; and her husband, Dr. Fred Frederick of Enterprise.

             Survivors include her children: Bartlett H. “Bo” Ford III (Gracie) of Manchester, GA, Leigh Ford Parsons (Bill) of Brentwood, TN, and Jane Ford Patton (John) of Arab, AL; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her brother, Bob Rogers (Angela) of Freeport, FL; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Marie Pettis.
